President’s News

The highlights from the AGM:

Band – we now have 2 bands, both of which are going well and performing regularly

Uniform Shop – Louise has put in an enormous amount of time and effort getting the shop to reflect a more balanced pricing policy. Suppliers are regularly reviewed to ensure parents are getting the best  value for money possible

Languages – All children have the opportunity to learn Spanish as part of the curriculum at Bronte. This is
successfully jointly managed between the school and the P & C

Social Justice – throughout the year the school has supported a number of opportunities including 1S Day, Shades for Aids, Norman Andrews House and PNG books

Performing Arts – this year the wonderful concerts were run by the class teachers with the P & C  providing funding of props etc when required

Bronte Activity Centre – again, although BAC does not operate under the P & C, the P & C is able to  provide support when required e.g. buying a new barbeque to be used by all fundraisers at the school
